I'm a kind of person who treasure memories and gifts I received from people whom I consider special. I tell you I have few friends but I know them well. I like better to have few friends whom I know well rather have so many friends but I hardly know. I'm gonna share to you what I have treasure for many years, well I have so many but I'm gonna share only few because the others are more personal and I'm not comfortable sharing it.
tada!
1. A letter from my super friends Sharon and Angel. This was given during my birthday last year. No need to tell that my super friends are Harry Potter Fans but the weird thing in this letter is you better read it at the back of the paper so that you can read it easily. Well, I know my super friends had a hard time writing this one, so I felt special (awww).
2. Two round candles with skull on it. This was given by my rocker (astig) friend Yencee during my 18th birthday. I remember my cousins saw this and laugh at me because they think this was the weirdest gift they encountered it's as if the person who gave it to you wished you'll be dead rather than wishing you more birthdays to come. But I just laughed at them because I know they won't understand us.
3. A wrapper of Presto cream that Fr. Hogan gave me. This was given when Yencee and I went to Loyola house just to roam around because we haven't been there and suddenly we met Fr. Hogan. He showed us and toured us and even introduce us to some of his co-priests in the house. He brought us to their snack room and then he asked us if we're hungry then we answered yes and tada! he gave us two presto creams each since then we became friends with him. We constantly visit him there but unfortunately he is sick now and he's in Manila right now so we cannot visit him anymore. I miss my Fr. Tootsie Roll.
4. A keepsake Book from my High School bestfriend Bea. She compiled everything pictures we've been together, wrote our first impressions to each other when we first met, our first activity together and other things that we do in school. I always smile when I see this book all the time. Good Ole days!
5. A certificate from CYA welcoming me to their culture. It's been 4 years when I became a member of this community. It was the start where I made new friends and especially where I built relationship with God, that was memorable I learned so much and they inspired me to become a better person.
These are some of the things I treasured and kept for many years.
We all have our own memories and things we treasure, come and write about them if you like, live with them and you'll appreciate life more. They are all blessings count them so that you'll know how loved you are in this crazy world.
So help us God :)
<3 Y!
