According to their facebook page they are named after the Buddhist mantra of perfecting practices. It means that they embody this by valuing perfection with the music they produce. Their genre is rock pop, and this is an indie band in my country Philippines. Their vocalist and at the same time their drummer is a woman who has a crystal clear voice, actually when you listen to one of their songs you can say that her voice is not for rock genre but after, you'll wonder how did she play and sing the song perfectly for my ears? Paramita's music themes are love and relationship as like the usual themes of today. I tell you their songs are not that catchy you can't jam to the song by listening only once maybe at least thrice you'll be able to sing the chorus.
